Dilworth Farms is a beautiful venue located in east central Alabama. Nestled amongst beautiful native trees and grasses, the farm is a peaceful environment perfect for disconnecting from the busyness and noise of everyday life. Breathtaking scenery awaits you at every turn throughout this property.

What does a retreat look like?

Marriage in Focus retreats combine biblical teachings, cozy accommodations, delicious meals, and relaxing experiences. The retreats consist of eight teaching sessions throughout the weekend. Five meals are provided (dinner on Friday, breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday). Each couple will have a private bedroom and bathroom. Our goal is for you and your spouse to leave resourced, refreshed, and more in love with God and one another.

What time does a retreat begin and end?

Retreats begin at 4:00 pm central time on Fridays and end at 10:45 am central time on Sundays.

Is a Marriage in Focus retreat a good fit for healthy marriages?

Yes! We believe a Marriage in Focus retreat will enhance your marriage, even if it is already good. Think of it as a vacation AND an investment in your marriage!

If our marriage is struggling, is a retreat a good option for us?

Possibly, but the only way to know is to connect with our team. We would love to talk with you about your marriage to help determine if a retreat is right for you.

Can I attend a retreat if I am engaged to be married?

Marriage in Focus retreats are for couples who are already married. We offer premarital coaching and workshops for engaged couples. Click here for more information.

How much does a retreat cost?

The cost to attend a retreat is $800, and includes full-service accommodations, meals, and workshop sessions.

Is Marriage in Focus a Christian ministry?

Yes! We are a Christian ministry and believe that marriage is designed by God to be one man and one woman, together with God at the center. See our statement of beliefs.

Is Marriage in Focus tied to a specific church or denomination?

No, we are a nondenominational Christian ministry. We encourage followers of Jesus from all denominations to come and be a part of a retreat experience.

What is your cancellation policy?

All retreat registration payments are nonrefundable.

Up to 30 days before the scheduled retreat, participants may transfer their retreat reservation to another Marriage in Focus retreat within one year of their originally scheduled retreat, pending availability.

Within 30 days and up to 14 days before the scheduled event, participants may transfer their Marriage in Focus retreat to another couple.

Within 14 days of the scheduled retreat, rescheduling is not permitted.

Marriage in Focus reserves the right to cancel a retreat in any circumstance, in which case we will offer a full refund of all monies paid or the option to transfer to a future event.
